Alex is a born good guy, who would sacrifice himself in an instant for anyone. It’s kind of inevitable that his best friend is the unquestionably evil Nick, who Alex still believes has a spark of good in him, despite the liberties the zebra has taken in their friendship. Kind and forgiving, Alex is the perfect shoulder for any casual acquaintance to lean upon. He does realize that some are taking advantage of him, but when someone comes to him with a problem, he knows his conscience would never let him rest if he didn’t try to help.
